Skin Cancer
Exposure to sunlight causes most of the wrinkles and blemishes on the face, which can have far more serious
consequences, including skin cancer. Be aware early, as 80% of sun exposure occurs before the age of 18. Skin
cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States, and the number of cases continues to grow. It is
the uncontrolled growth of abnormal skin cells. Healthy cells grow and divide in an orderly manner, while cancer
cells grow and divide rapidly and randomly.
